Re: Awesome Hunt
For the people that hunt public grounds the picture with the car and gate tells it all. You could have left that one out! Instead of having issues with two people now its gonna be ten. When taking pictures and posting, just think about your surroundings and background. I don't hunt public ground ...

Re: How was the weekend
We had our three best hunts of the season Saturday, Monday, and today with 60% being mallards, 30% Gads, 10% woodies. Four man limits on all three hunts. Two hunts at Schlater and one by airport in Greenwood. Saw lots of ducks at both places. Some buddies of mine over by Fighting Bayou, just a ...

Maybe I needed to have said the "Newbie" generation. Wasn't paying that much attention to the age I don't guess!

Re: can someone take me duck hunting
I live in Winona but hunt the central delta on private land 90% of the time. Would be more than happy to take you on private and public to show you how to hunt respectfully and ethically. Some many of younger generation have know idea what those two terms mean. The sport of duck hunting is headed in ...

Re: New Waders !
I just wish there was a company that made a style of waders that a lower leg amputee could wear. The non articulating ankle of a prosthesis makes it very difficult. Has to be a small market for amputees like myself. My favorite way to hunt is in waders by a tree, can't do it anymore. Other means of ...

Re: Tractor
The New Holland 7610 or 6610 MFD best tractor on the marketin that HP range. In my line business as an Erosion Control Contractor I've used them all, New Holland has been the best hands down! The only problem is locating a good one. I just bought two in Pennsylvania and had them shipped here ...

Re: Clarion Ledger
As everyone knows, I am the one who started this topic just out curosity. My simple question was, "How was your season this year, compared to a normal population of huntable ducks in seasons past".
As far as having a normal huntable population of ducks mentioned above mine was below average. As I ...

Clarion Ledger
I was just curious if anyone read the Outdoors section "Time short for Migration"? Bobby Cleveland wrote about this year being an above average duck season... I have talked to many that had a horrible season based merely on numbers! Don't get me wrong, having an opportunity to be able to go is a ...
