Re: WMA rules and changes

I grew up in MO and virtually all of the state managed areas are drawn--it's horrible. Fight like hell to keep them out of the draw system. Beleive me, they will keep adding rules on top of rules until it's just not any fun. Come to think of it, the most "un-fun" thing there is to this type of ...

Re: I hear the FEDS made belivers of some boys in Crowder

Different type of ticket, but some boys from AR recieved a littering ticket because they could not produce enough empty shotgun hulls for the amount of ducks killed. Of course, this was at the boat ramp. Pretty tough ticket if you ask me.

Re: Mack's Big Ditch Wader??????

i had a problem with a boat blind from Macks and called Mack. His return call to me was 5 days later, he was in NE pheasant hunting. He took care of my problem personally, and a really nice guy. I understand they are under new ownership, but call the owner or store manager. I beleive you will get ...

Best year ever for me in 35 years of hunting. Total party bag of 160 ducks, over 19 hunts--70% mallards and 80% of those were green. Included in the bag were a couple of redheads, several sprig--my son shot the nicest bull sprig I have ever seen, the spike was over 7" long--no kidding. Other ducks ...

bikes

I always had a bike when I was a kid, got married, had kids, got rid of the bike; typical story. 25 years later I bought a Harley--Dyna Wide Glide. It is one of the few things that I have overpaid for and looked back and said, "that was worth it" It now has 73,000 miles on it, just overhauled the ...

Tamies

I say let them raise the ducks and shoot as many as a shooter can afford. The guys that visit these places are undoubtedly the same ones that we all complain about being out in the woods. Think about it, if enough preserves are established it will keep some of the fringe hunters off of public land ...

Blinds

It is very improtant to have an effective blind. I've tried about everything you can think of and have found bamboo cane to be the easiest and most effective blind. Choose the cane carefully, the leafier the better. It is lightwieht even when wet, easy to carry if bundled properly and best of all it ...

Bond Decoys

I bought a dozen last year and they held up well. I bag them up after every hunt and they recieved pretty rough treatment. Hunted with them about 2 dozen times. They are lightweight and easy to carry. I bought another dozen this year as well, the original ones seem to be holding up

I called and talekd to the guy about the motors. The price of the 25 hp motor is $3,900. He has a 16' jon iwth a 43" bottom and claims it'll do 27mph with one guy and no gear. Fully loaded about 18-22mph. The way he talked it sounds like it'll go in mud with just a little water and runs fine in deep ...

I have an SBE and it hung up some the first year i used it. This is the 3rd year and i shot 8 boxes of shells through it and had it hang up once. I clean it once a year, whether it needs it or not and i'm not too careful with it during the season.

I am not a marksman by any stretch, but i shoot ...
