Pro - Drive Motors

Postby SoftCall » Mon Mar 24, 2003 9:17 am

Has anyone ever seen a pro-drive motor? I just watched a promo video. My Boss's cousin is making these things. It is by far the baddest duck hunting assault propulsion device I have ever seen. Looks kind of like an outboard with mud motor props, etc. Has a 4 cycle Kohler 25. I just watched this thing roll through mud flats at about 15 MPH. There was no water on top of the mud. You sit down to run it just like an outboard. This thing is bad to the bone!!!!

they don't have a website yet. This thing is just now commercially available. I'll try to find some pic's that I can post or something.

You can call Brian Provost at 337 229 0034 in Loreauville, LA for more info. He'll send you some literature. Post your feedback when you see it!

DD, I read on another site that the top speed is over 25 MPH when fitted on their boat. Dunno for sure.

I really need to test drive one of these thing, bad!!!!

I talked to Brian and he said with the 25hp and a boat fully loaded with two hunters and all the gear it would go 18mph in one-two inches of water and mud.

Shucks, that's only about as fast as a 25 HP Go-Devil. I was hoping that with the gear reduction it might make it faster, like an outboard. Looks neat, never-the-less. I guess I don't know what a gear reduction is?

I still want to test drive one Softcall. Let's go down there, soon.
