For the money you can't beat -- Woodford Reserve.

Special occasion's -- Blanton's.

Everyday half gallon -- George Dickle.

That is what I was gonna add about Duckaholics post on Bourbon, I thought it had to come from Bourbon Co., KY. Maybe a region right around there of a few counties.

It is a bourbon based formula blended with apricot-orange........you want a nipple with that

LOL Well I mix mine with straight crown if you must know. Gives it a little tang. Also that new Wild Turkey Honey is pretty good mixed with Crown also.

James Fox ($11.99/half gallon in Crenshaw) for special occasions. On card nights I'll have some Heaven Hill.

Now that's a quality hangover, with a touch of the wheezin' and a poppin's the next morning.

with a little Diet Rite cola and lime juice ---very tasty and doesn't go to your head quite as fast, nor leave much of a hangover.

used to drink alot of old charter like that.. something about that splash diet rite and a squeeze of lemon is tasty with bourbon to me..

They no longer make the Classic 90 (12 Year Old Charter). It's been out of production for about a year. If you can find any bottles, grab them up.

Http://www.straightbourbon.com is a good site.

Used to hunt the Brown and Forman guys in Arkie land and they preferred Woodford Reserve. They would bring several cases of it. Woodford was, in their professional opinion, the best. I was more into Makers at the time. One of my hunting buddies there was into James Fox!!! Bought it by the half gallon and would spin the top off and pass it around! yeeaackk.

My grandfather was an old charter man, when the fall comes and I smell a good fire Old charter is used for toasting one hell of a shot, otherwise I keep a good bit of makers on hand for use.

I'd have to say I'd prefer OC (Old Charter) or J.W. Dant. Those are probably my 2 favorites.
