I'm going to play devil's advocate. But first of all, I'll say that I'm glad I have a lease and don't have to worry about all of that. Now that I've said that, I'll ask a question. Are you saying that since you've hunted a spot on public land for "15 years", it is your spot and someone who is just getting into the sport doesn't have the right to hunt "your spot" on supposedly public land? It doesn't seem quite right if you ask me. I understand that you spent a lot of effort in preparing the hole, but it is public land. My personal philosophy for public land is somewhat close to that of duckmen although someone would have spend the night to beat me to "my hole" in the first place. To answer you're original question though, I'd make sure I beat them to the hole and I'd hunt where I wanted to whether it was in "their blind" or right next to it (notice that I said if I beat them there). If they beat me to the spot, I'd hunt somewhere else and make sure they didn't beat me there again!!! Just my 2 cents.
