new gun

I don't understand the hatred towards a bennelli and all the love for a berretta when if I'm not mistaken they our actually owned by the same company using the same engineers to design each gun. A berretta is essentially a gas operated bennelli. I own both and have never had a problem with either ...

Go to sam scales maine in stuttgart and see if they still have some of the suzuki 25 2 strokes. they are 3 cylinder and oil injected and run almost as smooth and quiet as a 4 stroke. They also haul booty, their is not a 25 out there as fast. It is the motor of choice at Bayou Meto.

which is better: they're both great

I have a Pro 5oo, and a Pro 100. I also have a Dogtra 2000 and a Dogtra 1200. They both are great, but to be honest I like the Dogtra a little more because the transmitter is smaller and has a belt clip and string for hanging around neck or whatever. Because of those features I think their is no ...

your right I can't cut it. Or I should say I can't cut bowhunting in mississippi for deer. I wouldn't walk across the street for all the little chicken$hit deer in mississippi. I deer hunt with friends in mississippi and if you like a steady buffet of 60lb. does and 3 points then its great. I guess ...

The bottom line is their is just not as many ducks as their was 4 or 5 years ago. Everybody talks about no snow up north, look I am from missouri and that state has never been a state that gets covered with snow that stays. Missouri gets occassional snow, but rarely does the snow stay for more than ...

Beartail hunt club

I was just reading the online brochure and I just find it hard to believe that they kill 3000 to 4000 ducks annually. First off, it is not even in the delta. And although it is close, that part of the delta is not really considered one of the better delta regions to be in to hunt ducks. I am just ...

best duck hole in mississippi? please.

if you think 232 ducks constitutes a duck hole being called the best then you don't know what good duck holes are. At one of my places that I hunt we have only killed 350 to 400 ducks and that is out of one blind and we consider this to be a $hitty year. So to call aplace where they have killed 232 ...

2 stroke vs. 4 stroke which is better??

I don't know what size boat you have but if you plan on hunting at Bayou Meto or most public land spots a 25 hp is the largest you can have. I would recommend a Suzuki 25 hp, it is a 2 stroke 3cylinder oil injected motor that is extremely fast. It would be comparable to a 30 t0 35 hp merc or johnson ...

aluminum boat ?

it will weaken the boat if there is no rib under the boatseat. if there is a rib under the seat then it will not. If there is no rib, then you could have one welded in which would be no problem. most boat manufacturers put foam for floatation under the seats, so you will lose that. If you weld in ...

Field Trials

Yes you can train a dog without a collar, but I will gaurantee you cannot train a dog for field trials or hunt tests without a collar. It takes a very very below average dog to be a good hunting dog which may be all you want. I mean it must be all you want since you won't use a collar and you read ...

Field Trials

don't waste your time with anything that has english in it. There is not one english dog anywhere that could run in an american field trial no matter how much training it has. A true field trial dog could blow away any hunt test or any english field trial with extremely limited training. There is a ...
