Huntin in the rain.....

Saw this ole boy on Monday and had to go back Tuesday and give it a try......one of my favorite hunts all year and for just one bird.

They are called Mo' black ducks.

and this is definitely a mottled. look at the jerusulapusalee on it and compare it to a black. NO QUESTION! :wink:

I'll probably always regret not having the last black duck I killed, mounted. It was a flawless specimen without a mark on it nor a feather out of place. Killed it on my birthday sometime back in the late 90's.

Congrats on the black. Trophy for sure.
