Beretta Extrema 2 or benelli Super black eagle II

hey guys im goin to be gettin a new shotgun this week and have narrowed it down to these 2 . jus was wandering the cons and pros of the 2. i like the extrema better but was told the benelli would not jam up in super cold temps . recoil and overall design and specs. i like the extrema better but it will be a duck gun an if i spend this much money on the gun i want one that ll work even when its cold . thanx for the imput

There is not a better 3.5" auto on the market than an Extrema 2. I used my Extrema 2 on some pretty cold days last year and never had an issue.

Anything else you've heard is irrelevant. Both guns are ultra reliable with proper care.

Whatever you feel more comfortable/confident with. But I did have an Extrema go click on a big turkey last year. Personally I wouldn't own one especially for turkey hunting. Just my opinion.

It is simple they all go bang if you perform proper maintenance on them. Also without proper maintenance they all will jam at some point, with that said go with the one you like the best.

Did it go click on the next shell? Kinda doubt it was a gun issue but rather a shell issue. Love my E 2. I doubt original poster can get a clear consensus on his question. I personally have seen a hunting partner's Benelli jam too many times. And just my opinion too.

Watched one jam up and would not shoot afterriding thru the coffe beans to the hole...ya can ask CC bout that one .....ole 870 was pumping and a killin that day while he watched.....took it to the shop after the hunt and it was full of seeds ............

I have both and I would go with the Beretta.. Way less recoil..

I've hunted with my Extrema 2 for 3 seasons now and have had no problems. I even took it for a swim one morning when it was rather cold and it still performed flawlessly.

Extrema hands down. Shoots lighter loads and less recoil.as far as the performance worth the price thing goes none are that good

Extrema is the way to go. Never had any issues with mine. Great gun and recoil is not bad.

whatever fits you the best.. i bought a new one last year.. shot the sx3, extrema 2, and super black 2.. got the benelli
