Ice

Postby TODO » Wed Jan 06, 2010 11:01 am

Im riding the desk at the office all week, but have been texting and what not all my buddies that are hunting. Im hearing that holes that are 10 feet or more deep are frozen solid this morning. If thats the case, not to many places for them to go. Loaned my boat out, they are on the river and arent killing much. Said some dude dropped a presswood off the trailer onto the ramp this. I guess with the ice on the runners they are slick. Better not unhook until your in the water.

Seems to be a theme here lately.
I did it Sunday, but my strap had broken and I didn't know it.

I hunted open water on 32 and there wasnt much flying this morning. I just knew when I saw the water flowing thru the corn that we were going to have a good hunt. It never happened. Hwy 32 was covered up with ducks yesterday afternoon and most of 'em were gone this morning.
