few and scattered, we had a good shoot but only due to amount and how long we have had water. Most of the others we talked to got skunked or just killed a few.

Trip, thats by far the most mallards I have heard of anyone shooting. I talked to two clubs, one of which shot 21 limits (yes I typed 21) on both Saturday and Sunday, almost if not all teal. The other club had many, many pits that got skunked. Know some boys that hunted public and didn't do so well either. Seems, very hit or miss at best. I got an invite and went today, the pit I was in didn't fire 1 shot. MAN I HATE THOSE AR STYLE PITS!

I had a great weekend all things considered, good times good friends and good food! But, as far as the actual hunting it was pretty slow by most standards for most folks I have talked to, but we had a better weekend than I expected based on the the duck concentration...very few mallards to go around except in a few spots. Best mallard report I've heard from a group was 10 mallard limits by 7:30.... bottom line the ducks just aren't here yet in any real numbers, and all the flooding probably didn't help the fields any. Still it was better than hanging out at the house wishing I was hunting, and I did see a banded Green Wing Teal killed over at Adam Lyerly's place and two banded geese killed at the Lounge this morning.
