First and formost, what the heck happened to Alabama tonight? I was so dissapointed in them, not that im an Alabama fan but because I am an SEC. I don't want to take a thing away from Utah but I really feel Alabama was and is a better team even though the score didn't show it. That being said, i never felt they were a No 1 team at anytime this year. I, probably like most of you, feel the SEC is the strongest conference and I always root for them. I felt they thought they were Alabama and that they were playing a nobody. Just me..
Ok this is a little hard for me so please bear with me. I am a MSU fan and have never been able to root for Ole Miss. But I must say I called that game and was really proud of them for beating Texas Tech. Gosh I can't believe I said that. But the fact is I am proud of them and I think its because they are a Mississippi team and that MSU has stunk it up so badly that I have to a winning team to pull for. I cant support losers, sorry.
Ok I must quit as I must be getting soft. I just now hope Florida can come through for me.

As much money as they are paying him, he should have his team ready to play every time they step on the field.

Re: What tha.....
That was Bama's worst game of the year, they where piss poor. It did not help that they where playing with a patchwork offensive line either.
Re: What tha.....
Man I work with too many Alabama fans so I know how this plays out.....Saban is god, it was John Parker Wilson's fault. I mean who was he throwing the ball to anyway....? Nevermind that he was hurried on every play and sacked over four times. Julio dropped a few 1st down passes, and Stover dropped a TD pass that hit him in the hands. O-line SUCKED...haven't seen one so bad since MSU's 2003 season.

Parker-Wilson does suck. If Alabama would get a grade A top notch QB like Sam Bradford they would be a lot better team. Parker-Wilson looks like a freshman even when he has his line in front of him. Makes STUPID decisions and looks confused by it all.
It's better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it.

Alabama was not that good of a team in my opinion.. The only reason they had a good season was because they were in the SEC west which was very very weak this year!!!! I knew utah was gonna kick that ass!!!! Heck MSU played Alabama close up to the half...

Re: What tha.....
I have to agree with passing to a point. I agree with the fact that they weren't as good as everyone had them to be. But, they did play florida a good game and that is when i thought they could have been a little better than I gave them credit to be. I predicted florida to beat alabama by at least 25pts. Without an injured Harbin it may have been a little closer to my initial prediction.
I think Alabama went down there thinking they were Alabama and it would be an easy roll. And I am here to tell you that Utah's game plan was fantastic. If anyone noticed they rushed this so in the first that Alabama couldn't even get their linemen down before they were hiking the ball. To me this allowed them to move the field very rapidly. So Alabama was really trying to play after spotting them 21pts.

The Utes looked as good as anybody to me. The speed of their defense was what impressed me. The speed. Well coached and no mistakes. It's hard to argue with 13-0.

Well said. My son and I attended the game. We came out flat and the Utes were ready. Quick-hit passes kept us on our heels. Good friend of mine went to Utah and said their QB had not shown that type of patience and accuracy all year.
The Bama crowd was taken out of the game early and was never really a factor. All in all, a great season. As for the Sugar Bowl, well, better to have gone and lost than to have not gone at all.
