Guys I got to tell ya I thought I've seen it all until this weekend. While I was up in Greenwood dove hunting I had a buddy ask me if I had heard of the guy that got caught by the federal game warden shoot'en snow geese by using a remote control airplane? Well he showed me the tape the gamewarden made and it is a sight to see. These guys were taking the remote control airplane over and herdin these geese like a bunch of cattle back where they had lined up a runway where a crop duster could land and there must have been 50 people involved in this. Well when the geese got in range they unloaded. And when I say it started raining snow geese I mean it come a down pour. These people had 5 or 6 guns next to them with plugs out. When it was all finish they had filled up at least 14 full-size truck loads of geese to the cab. Now I would have called B.S. about this story but I saw the tape the warden used to take these people to jail. This guy was from the delta in Arkansas. How he got caught was running his mouth too much around town about how many geese he had been killing and the feds caught wind of it and busted his rear. Have any of yall heard about this. It happened a few years back. The remote control airplane idea is not a new one. I have heard, from close sources, that it is a common practice in Arkansas to round up the snow geese during the special late season [img]images/smiles/icon_eek.gif[/img]

I don't see what the big deal of it was if it was in the late season. Heck we are supposed to correct the species. You can already take your plugs out and use e-calls they are still shooting them with guns, I say go for it and that they shouldn't have been fined for it if it was in the snow only season. Just my 2 cents, but I really see no problem we got too many snows as it is now if somoene can go shoot 4-500 in one outing I say more power to them.

What did they do with the geese?

They should have had a big cooking and made all of the hunters eat everyone of the geese with no rice or other fixings.

I shoot more snows than anyone in Tunica county. I will go to the legal limits on hunting them. I do have a few families that eat the geese. I will also eat about 25 a year. It is tough to eat those birds with out alot of rice.
