Have any of you fellas in the oilfield heard of this company? They called and offered me an electrician position yesterday but I have never heard of them.

Yep, used to build production equipment for them.

Check in the LA Sportsman magazine, they always have a full page ad in that magazine.

Trustworth company for sure.

good company, not sure what they pay but its probably competetive. First time offshore? PLC experience? HMI, Wonderware Smart Valve Programing? 4160, Turbine?, Compressor? HVAC, Sewage Treatment? Reverse Osmosis Water maker? Sea Water lift pumps? Forced Draft heaters, Tri plex pumps, Fire Safety systems, Nav Aids, cranes, appliances etc etc
Just giving you an idea what to expect, during my five years saw plenty of electricians come and go, aint much room for on the job training, you gotta know your shat or you aint going to last, if you cant fix it at 2:00am when the platform or rig goes down and you dont know what to do go ahead and pack your bags, the helicopter will be coming to get you in da morning.
Some contracts are more forgiving and low production, anequated gear but if you get on a place pushing out big money and computer automated you better be able to keep it running
