Teal Report

Postby Voodeaux » Mon Sep 03, 2007 8:08 am

Yesterday (Sept. 3, 2007) we went to the camp (Venice) for a work detail and scouting. The Teal are down and there are more Mottled ducks and Pintail then I ever seen for this time of year before.

Looks like a good Teal season and looks like it will be a great Duck season as well.

Just a heads up for anyone intersested in the Teal Migration.

I'm in the Air Force and currently stationed in Hawaii where there is no duck hunting. I will be home on September 26 and would love to get on some teal action. I will not be home for 2007-2008 duck season so if there is anyone out there could help line me up on a teal hunt that would be awesome.

Saw a few small groups while out checkin fish ponds in Nox. Co. yesterday and today. There's been some out at the refuge as well. Been hearing of some good sized groups north of here too.
