Anatidae, homemade plucker.......?

I read on another post of your super duper duck picker. I was wondering what type of motor you have pushing it. I recently was moving a ceiling fan and dropped it and broke a blade. You cannot buy new blades. Do you think I could make a picker out of it?

Anatidae, homemade plucker.......?

BLong,

Most of the 'plucker' heads I've seen have a shaft that requires some type of 'chuck' mount...like a drill motor. I bought a cheap 3/8" drill from Sears.....'can't beat their garauntee. I think Cabela's sells a motor, separately, but it costs too much. Get a variable speed drill, 'cause some ducks' skin is more susceptible to 'tearing' than others and you'll need to adjust the speed, accordingly.

(HMmmm...'Pluckerhead'...I kinda like that!)
