Delta License Plates Further Update

Very good news. I received a call from Tangie today who is with the State of Mississippi Tax Commissioner’s Office. She informed me that the license plates are being shipped today to all county agencies and our members can start picking theirs up next week Tuesday. Even more exciting is the fact that any vehicle owner in Mississippi can now purchase our plate across the counter when renewal time comes around. If you can post this on the refuge, that would be great.

good deal, for those of us that were suppose to get the free plate what do we have to do? Not that it really matters, b/c next month I will have one on my truck regardless

GC for 35$ you can have one when you get ready, they can swap it out at any time.

If we had ordered one of these tags will we still get a renewal notice in the mail? My truck tag expires at the end of this month and so far I haven't recieved a notice in the mail. Usually I would have it by the end of December.

Yes you will still get your renewal notice. My tag expires this month also and i have already got my notice. I called the tax collector to check on it and they knew nothing about it, told me to call Jackson. They said if they dont get them that i could just get a regular tag and when they came in i could trade it out.
