Our future depends on it.
Looking for 2 duck calls from Dominic Serio of Greenwood (ones for Novacaine)

Re: GO VOTE!!!
Just finished voting....first time in my adult life that I've ever had to wait in line to vote in our little town....lines were out the door, and around the corner, with both blacks and whites, equally....it's gonna get interesting, tonite.

Re: GO VOTE!!!
Noticed the same thing this morning. Our line was out the door to the street and people were standing in the rain. Safe to say that this election has gotten the attention of lots of traditional "non-voters", judging strictly by turnout alone.

Re: GO VOTE!!!
I was going to ask that. Do you guys have to provide photo ID when you vote? I had to this morning and they checked my name off the roll based off of my DL.
How are these folks voting on deceased voter ballots when they're required to show ID? Are the pollsters aiding?

That's how I sent in my vote from Japan. Oddly enough it was a fairly difficult process.donia wrote:^^^early voting/absentee voting
Re: GO VOTE!!!
I voted this morning for the first time since I moved to Clinton. What a boondogle. Stood in the rain for about 20 minutes at a little church. We voted paper ballots and then cast them into a machine. I haven't voted paper ballot in 15 years. Really didn't realize there were folks still using them. The way the ballots were printed some of the elderly were having a hard time figuring out which bubble to circle.
The other thing I don't like about how they do their elections in Hinds county is having to go to two different places to vote (one for local and one for federal). That just seems shady from the get go to me.

Re: GO VOTE!!!
ours' was slooooow, but was due to retiree poll workers socializing with the other retirees (who they haven't seen since last election cycle). 2 of the 10-12 machines occupied while the cattle gap minder had his back turned to them, talking...many of the cattle mooing and motioning about open machines to an oblivious worker who's main purpose is to release the cattle to open machines.

Pee Wee - according to Gubna Bryant on the JT show @ lunch, the folks that stood in line in the rain were waiting to board the Trump train. In other words, democrats don't like waterpeewee wrote:I voted this morning for the first time since I moved to Clinton. What a boondogle. Stood in the rain for about 20 minutes at a little church. Re: GO VOTE!!!
They called MS for Trump as soon as the polls closed. Seemed to be pretty anti-climatic.
