Pokemon Go on WMA's
I know the thought of this seems silly but what's to keep this from happening on a public use area? Wouldn't Pokemon Go players have the same right of use? I'm not sure you could use the hunter harassment laws because the Pokemoners are just enjoying the public use differently. Is there actually any law in place that could stop Pokemon Go on WMA's? If not, I predict this will be the next craze. If not Pokemon, a duck or deer hunt senecio.
Thoughts?????

What about boat traffic to catch a Pokemon in the Stump Hole?

There have already been incidents of players crossing borders illegally, trespassing on private property - including jumping fences and walking past 'posted' signs, wandering into traffic, etc.
I firmly believe that when seasons open, we are ALL going to have to be more careful out there, because these poor souls simply ain't right.
Nobody owes you anything.
Re: Pokemon Go on WMA's
They'll need to purchase a WMA permit, but I figure the Pokemon doofus will be clueless.
Theoretically, anyone with a WMA permit can birdwatch or hunt hippopotamus with a sharp stick if they so desire.
Scouting may be regulated to certain days etc, but not bird watching.

Them ducks is wary. We now resume our regularly scheduled forum melee in progress.

I firmly believe this is the greatest natural selection tool ever introduced.

How bout you put a "lure" in your spread this winter and test that theory. I'm thinking about dropping one at the foot of every public boat ramp in the delta opening morning. Or tagging the local wardens truck with one.deltadukman wrote:I firmly believe this is the greatest natural selection tool ever introduced.

These words confuse me. I can only surmise this arrangement of words means you know how to play this game?JaMak84 wrote:How bout you put a "lure" in your spread this winter and test that theory. Looking for 2 duck calls from Dominic Serio of Greenwood (ones for Novacaine)

I have a set of books " The Darwin Awards" they are a collection of stories of people removing themselves from the gene pool, through any number of stupid or illegal acts. I believe Pokemon Go and other
similar augmented reality games will allow another book to be added to the series.

No clue. Had a local business owner the other day trying to explain to me about using "lures" to attract these little characters to his business. Thus, brining in all kinds of weirdo foot traffic.teul2 wrote:These words confuse me. Re: Pokemon Go on WMA's
I ain't gonna hide it. I play the game. I will be one of them playing in the boat on the way to he hole and then even in the hole. 75% of the time there are no ducks flying. Now I'm not stupid and gonna walk around off the regular trail I go in on or my normal route. I think they shouldn't be allowed to just go on the wma or any public land to just play but u will have them hunters that after they get done hunting they are gonna be trampling through the woods. It's not just kids playing it either. I've seen 50 year olds playing it and even older.
It's defiantly a game that is going to wein out the stupid ones. Aka walking on the interstate in Brandon and jumping fences.
So ok I'm ready for the name calling cause I know it's coming

Re: Pokemon Go on WMA's
I've seen pics of WMA cards already that have Pokemon hunting marked on the back.
I bet they won't be at DNF for long once rifle opens.
