Mass shooting (San Bernardino)

Postby peewee » Thu Dec 03, 2015 9:21 am

Until the US get true leadership that is willing to step and call this what it truly is these massacres will continue! It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out this was terrorism.

According to Obama it was workplace violence that would have been prevented if we had more restrictive gun laws (i.e., if we could ban guns).

It is a bunch of horse crap!!! Just a repressed innocent Muslim-American trying to get by in life. Family says he was normal and they do not know why he did it. Well know crap you think they would say. Hail yeah our brother did it cause he hated Americans and Christens. Those people deserved to die. It the same story everyday don't call a spade a spade. Let's avoid that and talk about gun control, new laws that should be put in place. Lets avoid that and talk about lets give these people and others the benefit of the doubt.

People will still be killed with guns after a ban. It's pointless. People intent on doing harm will continue to do so.

Watching fox last night and listening to the CARE group speak was interesting. They were really quick to not allow the brother in law of the shooter to answer anything. Remember isis is contained???? Since that statement look what has taken place. And the media is pointing out how they are targeting soft targets. Just giving them a map as to where to go next as if they need one. This will only ramp up as they know they only have a limited amount of time on obamas watch to do this. I am really worried about where is next. All gun free zones beware I guess.

The only way for us or the world for that matter, to ever ever ever defeat ISIS or Muslim Jihadists or Silamic terrorists or whatever you want to call them is Full Scale Genocide of that "religious" belief. They hae to be wiped off the face of the earth...all of them.

We all know that isn't practiable and will never happen..so we are stuck in the dilema we have now. Make no mistake about it, they (Muslims) and all of them, even the "Moderate" ones, are at war with us and the world. If you are not a muslim you are an infidiel and must be converted or killed....PERIOD. To me there is no moderation on that, little room for interpertation, so you can't have a moderate or peacful muslim. I don't know what the answer is, but if/when all htose Syrian refugees start invading the US, just be ready cause this type of atack is going to become more and more common. The media keeps asking the question...why would a Jihad or whatever, attack a county Christmas party.. woudln't they go to a ball game or movie or concert instead? The answer is no they woudln't. We know to "expect" it at those places, the better question is why wouldn't they attack a county christmas party?? They don't care if they kill you at a perty or a ball game, they just want to kill you!!!

I was out of touch with the world yesterday & did not even know about this until my daughter mentioned it last night. At that point, I turned on Fox News to get caught up on the situation. As always, Fox was breaking it down, analyzing the situation, interviewing specialists in the field & basically reporting the facts that they had in front of them. Cool, so I watch for 30 minutes until all the info was starting to repeat. They kept saying the police were about to have a press conference so I stayed tune for a while. The presser never seemed to come so I flipped to see if other news channels were sharing different info. Low & behold, as soon as I got to CNN, Y'all's president was on air blaming the guns again! Gun control was ALL they talked about for the 5-10 minutes I could stomach watching those liberal bastages!
Anyone else notice this last night? And is it as frustrating to you as it is me?

Yes, I would venture to say that the whole situation is frustrating to every participant on this board. And what is equally perplexing is the fact that liberals seem to be shielding Muslims at every turn. The Islamic religion does not accept many of the ideologies that liberals hold dear, such as women's rights, free speech and expression, homosexuality, tolerance, etc., etc., etc.

Dude, this is California... guns are already banned there. So if semi auto's are already banned, then how did this happen?

Not true. Yes they are more restrictive and I'm glad I don't liver there. There is a roster of approved handguns http://certguns.doj.ca.gov/ and lots of AR manufacturers offer "California Compliant" rifles.

I'm surprised a community center in California would have a Christmas party.

I agree with you.. I know many of you on this site carry a firearm on you.. Put yourself at that Christmas Party, with your current experience and or training and carry gun would you have had a fighting chance????

My current everyday carry is an FNS9c with 12+1 rounds in the gun, a spare mag and a ElfMonkey spring assistedknife and a NRA tactical flashlight.. But I still would feel undergunned in this situation.. My only hope would be to find some cover and try to squeeze off some good shots..

IMO someone starts shooting at these 2 and they no longer have a soft target and they are out of there quick. These people were cowards shooting the folk they worked with and knew and knew they were unarmed.

I am not so sure about that..They walked slowly out of there, and drove away slowly, and expected to die soon "for the cause". Plus they also fired upon Police officers. Anyway, I am not sure that I would bet on them running away if you fire 6 rounds of 380 at them and then then you are done.
