North MS Report?

Is anyone hunting HWY 82 north hearing/seeing any activity?

I've hunted 3 mornings/evenings and haven't heard a peep. Just curious. Saw some birds but they didn't act like it was march.
If I don't do it, I ain't gettin nun.......So i'm doing it

For the first time in years, I can say yes.
Looking for 2 duck calls from Dominic Serio of Greenwood (ones for Novacaine)

I've been 3 times and heard a turkey gobble each time, but never more than 3 gobbles. Real slow right now.

I know of 1 that won't gobble anymore. Not because he's dead, but because I whiffed three times and scared the caca out of him....... :cry:

But my hill birds aren't doing much. My delta birds are getting closer.

Bird I was on yesterday gobbled at least 100 times in the 2 hours I worked him. But he would not cross the finger of water between us.
One other bird I worked gobbled 3 or 4 times and ran to me. But, we met each other when I rounded a tree and he was gone.
