...and everybody that was asked "so, who'll realistically be able to break the record?" gave the same response....."us."

To tell you the truth....the weekend just left a bad taste in my mouth. I love the crowd and the new record, but we had the record anyway, would have much preferred the series win. It is almost panic time for the Bulldogs. If we do not find clutch hitting and CONSISTENT hitting then we are in trouble. We are a notch below last year's team in every part of the game....hitting: without Frazier getting us started it is obvious he is a huge absence...pitching: we show signs of good pitching, but not shutdown type performances from a year ago....defense: a part of the game that we really took pride in now seems to be some lack of focus. Like I said, we are still a good team, but just looks like a notch below what we have expected. Maybe we get it rolling soon.
Are we gonna get wet?

This Bulldog team is VERY good, just needs to put a few things in place. The Friday game against the Bears, the Dogs hit Rocket after Rocket right at players. Everything the Bears hit "fell in". That game easily could have gone in the Bulldogs favor then we are all smiling.

Back to my first statement.......this Bulldog team is VERY good and could make a run to Omaha or better.....just need a few things to fall in place...... I am still not sure the Bears have played anyone......we will see what they have over the next few weeks.
