I was thinking that very same thing. Hmmm.MSDawg870 wrote:Wonder why that guy owns a .410?
Just because he was shooting a 410 doesn't mean the guys were out of range.. A 410 will travel just as far as a 12ga. Compare the Shot size and Velocity on 410,28,20, & 12 gauge boxes.. Most are going to be traveling in and around the 1200 FPS range.. For example, I have a box of Remington 410 #4's that are traveling 1250 FPS.novacaine wrote:Sir...........I'm out of range with your light load .410...............................i'm shooting 3.5" #2's therefore you are within my range. Silly ol man. Just cause he hates to see any animal shot.

Either way, if I am out duck hunting in a canoe with my brother (or anyone else for that matter), and some tree hugger comes out and shoots at us with anything, I am going to shoot back! And I am not the only person who thinks that way.cwink wrote:Just because he was shooting a 410 doesn't mean the guys were out of range.. A 410 will travel just as far as a 12ga. Many people think that a 410, 28 or 20 will not travel as far, but that is a myth.. A #4 pellet traveling 1250fps is a #4 pellet traveling 1250fps no matter what gauge it comes out of.. The only difference is that there are not as many #4 pellets in a 410, 28 or 20 than they are in a 12
Let me change that.............I got more energy in my sack of #4's than you silly ol man.cwink wrote:Just because he was shooting a 410 doesn't mean the guys were out of range..
