Heaven recieved an Addition

The last 6 weeks have been something else. It went from lows to highs and was a rollar coaster not even Disney World could dream up.

I didn't know what I was getting into the day I picked up Zeus. A christmas present from my brother, a gift I such needed. I had hopes of earning a title, spending time watching the retrieves, and was quite ready to get that excitement a pup brings and an old dog holds in my system. I was so ready for opening day I could hardly stand it. Then, my hopes changed. My desires changed, as did everything else.

From week 1 until this morning, I don't believe we've missed a monday morning run to the vets office. Something just wasn't right, a pup should've been bustling w/ energy! All in all, he saw 4 vets, spent most every monday morning getting poked and proded (thought about name change to POKE) and in the end a mystery still. I had him a total of 6 weeks, and can say that it was the hardest 6 weeks of my life. THe last 3, have just about broken me (in all ways you can imagine). It really sucks not knowing what happened, why, or anything. Questions that may never be answered.

Anyway, Zeus was sent to stay w/ the greats this morning. I just recieved his AKC papers, fitting I guess.

Hoping St. Peter meets him w/ a steak or something and allows him to get some much needed rest!
