My friend needs help!

Hey guys, my friend Katherine Barkett Byrd just recently got really really sick... Supposedly her kidneys have stopped working at the moment and she is having to get 30+ units of blood a day to stay alive. She is really in need of blood... Particularly plasma from males... She is AB + so obviously that'd be best but its my understanding that any blood will work! You can donate at MS Blood Services on Lakeland Drive... If you can't get by to donate, maybe just throw a prayer her way as she is need of both right now! All it cost is a little bit of your free time to save someone's life! Thanks in advance guys!

Went yesterday to donate and the wait was 1 1/2 hours. She told me to call back about wed and make an appointment. Half the poeple there were there for Katherine

I don't know much about the different blood stuff so maybe yall can enlighten me. I haven't given in a while due to training and preparing for my race. It's over and I already scheduled to give blood Monday, they will be in Vicksburg at River Region. I am O-. Can I give her platelets and if so do I have to come to Jackson or can they get that from their mobile unit that will be in Vicksburg on Monday?
