I have hunted about 1/4 to a 1/3 of past seasons by my self. Granted the whole place is nut deep and i am in a pirouge.

I like to hunt by my self some. Gives me time to think.

Is this guy kidding??? I think I hunt alone most of the season. Not necessarily because I prefer to, but because my dads concept of hunting includes an insulated box stand with his old office chair, portable propane heater and staircase (instead of a ladder) with rail up to the door for deer hunting, so I know he is out on the duck hunting. And most of my other buddies are working when I am able to take off and go.

Tuel,

Exceeded the weight limit??? No way. That dog must weigh at least 150 pounds and you must be carrying 3 dozen weighted keel decoys. I know it can't be you, it has to be everything else, right?????

Not me, but I have put two 250lb guys in it (thank god no one saw and took pics) with both our hunting bags. Water was up over the nose and tail and coming up the sides. It wasn't pretty, but the boat did it.

I don't like doing it on the big water ever since my "bad" day. Not that having anyone there would have made the damn motor start. Boat ramps with ice on 'em ain't fun by yourself either. But, you can't kill em at the house and you dang sure can't kill em at work.
