Instead, Wallace broke the arm tackle and now LSU is doomed. Funny game.
This is a valid point (although it sounds like something an Ole Miss fanboy would say).
LSU went to UGA and matched them score for score. LSU has played great offense all year.
LSUs offense has been pretty stagnant the last three games (even against Furman in the first half). However, I think LSU can score on Bama better than anyone has excluding Texas A&M. My concern is that LSUs defense has been downright awful. It has been rare that an opposing team, excluding easier games, has even punted against LSU. I think Ole Miss punted once against LSU. I don't think Georgia ever punted against LSU. I don't think State punted against LSU until midway through the 3rd quarter. Point being, Alabama will have the best, most balanced, offense that LSU will play.
The sole reason this series has been as evenly balanced over the last 7-8 years is because both teams have played great defense.
That is why I think Bama wins by 17+. Moreover, when you start the season with conference and even national title expectations, when you are relegated to at best being in the Capital One Bowl, even if you win out, it kind of takes the "care" away when playing the remaining games.**

Plus I think I am old enough now not to put as much emotional energy into what a bunch of 18-22 year olds do...
