Re: LSU vs Oklahoma Super Regional
Should be an interesting SR. LSU played very poorly throughout their regional, and quite frankly, was probably lucky to advance. The LSU defense was beyond bad (I think they had 10+ errors in 3 games). Heck, Jackson State scored 7 runs on them in the first game of the regional.
On the other side, you have a streaky OU team that is either really good or pretty bad. They appear to be on another really good streak. They also have maybe the best starting pitcher in the country in Gray. Apparently, his fastball hits between 98-101.
I think the series will go all three games, and because it is at home, I give LSU a slight edge, but I am not willing to definitively state that LSU will win the series.

I think this dude from OU is legit as they come, but I also think LSU has something to prove after losing to Stoney Brook in the SR last year. Let me add that Stoney Brook was a scrappy team and deserved the win, Im not taking away from them. With all that ............................

I think a lot of the SRs will go 3 games. The parity is unbelievable with these bats. Pitching, defense, and the ability to hit a ball thru a hole with a man in scoring position are the way games are won these days. A great team like LSU that has a rough day fielding the ball can be beat. MSU had very similar troubles in their regional. Errors made by players whom are usually very solid.
