It helps to have a good dog, a training group, support from friends, tips from handlers and judges and the encouragement from my husband; besides being the bird tech, secretary and driver to hunt tests.
At The Grand in West Point, MS Travis Bruce told me HRC was addictive. What started out as a way to pass time between hunting seasons is now an addiction.
Randy was a first time handler Sunday running BJ and did a much better job than when I started. It was really hard when Randy was loading the shotgun and BJ was looking for me over her shoulder.
