Not yet. We got really close a couple weeks ago. We had two big ole gobblers run up on us not 20 yards away. But they came up on his right side. So, he couldn't get a shot off. The birds got wise and ran off. He hasn't felt like going back since due to be sick and taking chemo. Hopefully he'll feel like going Saturday, and we can try again.

Gunner do you have any pictures you could put up of Griff in his new gear and gun? Would love to see the smile on his face.

Sorry to hear that and hope the little fella is feeling better ASAP!
I am interested in purchasing duck calls that were made by Mike McLemore. I am a family member and they have a sentimental value.

Also does he have any 22LR shells to shoot out of this gun? I know they are extremely hard to come by these days and I have an abundance that I will be more than happy to send to you guys so yall can go out and enjoy shooting cans and critters.

Steffen, if Griff wants to try that new gun out on a pig just let me know. I will start feeding them again as soon as turkey season is over and we can make it just about a sure bet hunt one morning. Plus its only in Philadelphia so would be a short drive.

Walking to chase down a turkey that was gobbling on the roost. This is the day we had the two turkeys run right up on us.

The last time we went out we saw about 6 or 7 deer standing on the trail about 300 yards from us. Griff got to check them out in the binoculars.

duckkiller,

We have prolly 100 rounds of 22LR. There was someone else who also offered to send us some, but they ran into a load of issues with trying to ship them. I told him to just hold off. I'm sure the whole shipping madness is still complicated. So, I wouldn't worry about it. I appreciate the offer, though.

quackerkiller,

Everyone on the site took very good care of us. A gun was bought/donated and the money raised by everyone paid for all of Griff's gear. I appreciate the offer, but you really don't have too, bud. We have been greatly blessed!

ACEINTHEHOLE,

That sounds fun, man. Someone else has offered a hog hunt as well. I know I'm up for it as ong as Griff is. I'll take him as many times as he wants to go and feels it.
