State tax refunds???....

Are they running behind, this year, getting refunds sent out???...usually only takes a couple of weeks....been waiting about 45 days, so far.

I e-filed mid-February and received both State and Federal refunds before March.

Been trying to get in touch with those knuckleheads for 3 months to setup an account so we can give them money. I either sit on hold forever or the line is busy. I'm assuming they are behind based on that. Congrats on a getting a refund though. I don't get those any more.

I was having a terrible problem getting our refund. The computer was saying it was processed and the refund would be 7 to 10 days. After 2 weeks I called my State representative who got on it. After another two weeks I finally got through to someone who actually looked at the file. Sent them a couple of documents via fax and it was pushed through.

The answer to your question is yes, they are behind. There was a fire at one of their facilities in January that has pushed everything behind.

accountant that does our taxes said the state would be behind again this year and expect delay receiving ours, but it came through pretty fast for us.

Got the first refund I've had in about 12 years. It took about 4 days to get it. I was so surprised by both that I checked to be sure it was legit!

Return was filed electronically on Wednesday, April 10 - received refund check April 17.

Pretty-good turn-around. Happy, happy, happy........ :mrgreen:
