Postby bulldog ducker » Mon Mar 04, 2013 3:52 pm

I am sure in time Travis will come on here and tell his story, but he lost a dog of a lifetime today.

Travis he was one heck of a dog and will always be remembered and talked about by so many.

Thoughts & prayers with y'all Travis, TJ & Karen.
Rowdy was the dog that made me want have a dog that could play the game. Simply amazing what he could do and how many people he made an impact on. We don't ever get them to be part of us long enough but really glad Rowdy was able to influence me and others for years.
Travis hope you can sit back and think of all the thousands of great memories of Rowdydogg.

My condolences to Travis and his family. Rowdy was a once in a lifetime dog that all of us hope one day to be blessed with. Not only did he affect his family, he inspired a large group of us when this place started to go out and train our dogs. Through him we learned that it was not only accomplishments but the lifetime bonds created between dog and trainer that develop way beyond the mere owner/pet relationship the average dog owner experiences. That bond makes our lives richer and provided Rowdy with the greatest life a retriever can have.

If this place had a hall of fame Rowdy would be the first member inducted.

Thanks for all the inspiration you brought to all of us,

Bill

Anything I can think to write seems inadequate. Travis and TJ, my condolences as well.

Rowdy is one of the dogs that has been on my mind lately. I guess having an old dog that is showing his age, makes you think more about those you came up running with, or after, and were inspired by.. Add me to the list of those influenced by Team Rowdy dogg, and as said above, thanks for the inspiration. What a dog, and what a life he had.

Amen.

Man what a dog i have had the pleasure of running Rowdy in his prime it was always a great feeling to go to the line with such a great bunch of dogs. It was so kewl to take Jumper & Yoco & Rowdy and have the test run before you ever got to the line you always knew how each dog would make the test look. Travis you are like a brother and TJ is like another son and Karen is a angel to put up with all of us. Rest in peace Rowdy!!!!!!!!!! Tell the rest up there we still think about them not sometimes but all the time
