I hunted the marsh in southeast La. this morning. Everything looked great. There was high wind, it was cold, tide was low, and it was cloudy. However, there were no ducks. I didn't see one duck the entire morning. :( :( :( :( Well maybe next time.
Shoot them sprigs on their first pass!

I hunted one of my favorite WMA's last Friday. Had one group of eight mallards work then opt to join the other "Live" ducks about two hundred yards away. Hard to compete when you have thatr kind of competition! Drove around about eight o'clock and was dissapointed at the number of ducks I did/didn't see.
There's plenty of room for all God's creatures. Right next to the mashed potatoes.

Had my huntin buddy call me this morning as he left our location, said he only saw 4 ducks. Wheres the ducks?

are any of these non-sightings around crowder? I had planned a week off work to duck hunt, starting in the morning. Do I need to deer hunt instead?

we havent had any ducks in about 2 weeks in silver city, south of belzoni
