We were covered up Christmas and the day after in Tunica. One of my holes had thousands on it Christmas Day and I didn't hunt. The day after Christmas we hammered them. We killed mallards, pintails, teal, gads, and redheads. Thursday they were mostly all gone. Rode around a little before work this morning and didnt see many either, so I don't know.

Re: Dem ducks dun gone...
We were covered up, from daylight to 10 never went more than 30 seconds without seeing from a single to 80 in a group, but will not say where, we've had them like this for about a week, not a lot of off ducks though

We were also covered up all day yesterday (Friday). Thousands and literally thousands of ducks. They were in huge groups flying around and sitting in everybody's fields all day and in ours also. Then today, nothing, hunted all morning and saw maybe 100 total flying in the clouds all morning. We get'em one day and then wait 10 more for them to show up again. Here one day and gone the next. I've personally have never seen anything like it, maybe someone knows whats going on.

All I've got are local birds. Hot action for about 10 minutes then the switch gets flipped. Haven't seen much at all flying. Had a bunch of mallards dry lite in corn stubble. Never saw one of em near our duckholes. My action usually doesn't get good and solid til into January anyway so I'm still hoping for top tier hunts.

We ended up with a 3 man limit pintail mallards fads and one spoony for good measure. Took little over an hour.

All the new water has them spread thin from what I have seen around our place. Was loaded before that last big rain
