God Bless Stone and keep him close!
You were a remarkable owner for Stone and he was lucky to have found his way into your heart. My condolences.
If I remember correctly, he came out to train on our place before the Texas Grand a few years ago (maybe 2004?)

Wow. I'm sorry for your loss, but thank you for a great tribute to a great dog and some fine friends. Dog people are cool.
Re: Stone
Stone is one of the last of a bunch of great dogs that prompted great discussions about training on this board about 7 or 8 years ago. I remember Stone from the first FT I ever saw. Troy I'm sure you remember that trial because Stone got his QAA there. I remember every bird of that trial at the cattle ranch(montgomery Q 2006)
What a great life you gave him,
Bill

Yes LDH we trained there for the Grand. Ate lunch outside at a lcoal place and you showed off your daughters pictures. Very pretty girl. Hope all is well.
I remember that trial as well Bill. I watched dog after dog blow-up on the last series water test and I counted Stone's placemements climb as they did. Good stuff! I knew I had a couple to beat that were good up till then. As they blew up we moved into 2nd place.
Thanks All. He will be missed and we were glad to have had him.
Merry Christmas!!!!
