It's not about who's guy it is, but if Bo Wallace is the best player in the state then I'm an astronaut. Of course, Mississippi didn't nominate Moncreif, which really makes no sense.

Good for Bo, he played with a lot of heart. Why nominate Banks over Bumphis? Just curious. Both guys are really talented.

So are you saying we wouldn't be having this discussion if Moncreif would have won it? Because we both know we wouldn't be if Banks would hav won it..

I don't know. He had a real good year. Of course, it was against cupcakes, you know, so it doesn't count. MSU didn't play any SEC teams this year .

Why are you dissecting my comment? Moncrief had the best season probably than anybody on either team. I don't care who he plays for.

They are building Wallace up as a Heisman candidate like every other quaterback that has darkened the school. They are marketing him plane and simple. If I were Moncrief the Beast, I would be pizzed. Guess it's time to get those sticker machines warmed up again.

"Wallace for Heisman"

Word of caution yall might want to tell him....if he keeps running straight up like he does, he's gonna get his neck broke. Being a Connerly trophy winning QD, I'm sure he already knows that though.

No where in your facts were his 16 interceptions

How many did Eli throw then?
Eli had 15 picks does that help your feelings? Bo's nowhere close to same league as Eli but I'd say out of those choices he's probly the best player. How could anybody that watched even part of the game say that banks isn't way overated?
All im saying is that i find it hard to believe 16 interceptions earn you the trophy. And I honestly didn't know about Eli, thats why i asked the question.

Thats what Im saying, I will be the first to tell you he is a game changer, take him off your roster and where do you honestly think you would land? 6 wins? Honestly

Put him on states roster and what do you think they would be. He is the Jerry Rice of the combo between he and Bo. Maybe they are thinking of nominating him next year and if they do he will will it if he continues to perform.

I'm definately not saying if you took moncreif away we would be the same team. It's obvious he's beast, but he wasn't nominated so that point is mute. As to why he wasn't who knows? Maybe you are right maybe they do it next year because I fully expect and hope he gives us the same performance next year.

I think Moncreif is the best player in the state, maybe the best receiver in the conference but Wallace was just as deserving as many of the past winners. Moncreif will probably win next year if he stays healthy.
