Delusional Rebels 30 Arkansas Browns 27

Postby Po Monkey Lounger » Sat Oct 27, 2012 9:51 pm

Well, the delusional Rebels have done it again, defying the conventional wisdom of the ducksouth brain trust. Unbelievable.

Despite giving up a couple of turnovers to the Browns, the Rebs created three for themselves to take a slight edge in the turnover margin. This may have been the most complete game played by the Rebs to-date this season. The offense, defense, and solid special teams play all contributed to the win . The punt block was long overdue. And having our field goal
kicker hit a game winner on the last play of the game was huge for his confidence(although I must admit that didn't help my heart).

The Rebels played hard for 60 minutes with a successful outcome.

And with this win, I (along with my wife) moved to 3-0 on games against Arkansas that we have attended in Little Rock --- with this win, the Rebels have won the last three games played there. And I doubt that we will get to play there again for at least another decade.

I...AM....A.....DELUSIONAL....OLE...MISS... REBEL!! Hotty Toddy!! Smoke 'em if ya got em' fellow Rebels. Savor the flavor, and it's on to Athens to see if we can stay on the same field against the city dawgs.
