American Hoggers

Postby fireplug » Thu Sep 27, 2012 1:20 pm

WTF?

How am I just now seeing or hearing about this show that I found last night? Anybody laugh as hard as I did when possum's cod burned up and then
he pulled out his pistol and shot it? Who are these people and where does the discovery channel come up with such creatures? And how did that
hot as$ blonde end up with that rough looking crew?

It's gotts to be a Federal Law that A&E has to go to places like Louisiana, Texas, and other backwoods areas to find the most ignorant sounding people they can, then put them on TV. It makes people in New York and California feel good about themselves.

Next stop on the A&E Channel? "Albania Convenience Store Smokers Wars"!

I have seen an episode or two of this, and what I don't understand why they are all so excited about "relocating" those hogs. Everyone is wearing a gun. Run 'em done and put a bullet in them.....

The only thing that would make that blonde any hotter would be if she started fanning the hammer on some wild bacon :D

The wife and I have been watching this for the last coupla seasons...seems they catch the hogs then feed em up to sell them. On occasion the kid will shoot one that is really aggressive and or large. I believe it to be staged hunts however. Some bad booty dogs fo sho 8) 8) 8)

They are selling them to a processor. Texas has wild hog processors set up and monitored by USDA. I've been talkign to a guy from over there thats helped me with my trapping skills. If a man works hard at it he can make a prety decent amount of money trapping and selling them over there.

I've seen about 10-15 episodes..... I kinda like it. "Ive been hunting hogs since Moby Dick was a sardine" .... LOL

I concurr about the blonde....... whew.... smoke all the way.

It is staged, but still good. I put it in the same class (of show) as Swamp People...... but with better scenery!

I watched season 1 last year and been watching season 2 too. I think it's a pretty entertaining show and the old man makes me fall out of my recliner laughing when he talks. The son just pisses me off because he thinks he's hot snout but Krystal Pistol is better at hunting hogs than him in my opinion.
