thats a lie - Ruth's Chris has the best steak in Jackson, hands down. 2nd best would be Walkers

Ely's is good. we take clients there monthly and the owner is the personal chef and there all the time. He will take good care of you.

False, Ruth Chris is good but it is no Ticos. I have heard they use the same technique but my wife and I prefer Ticos.

They use the same technique because Tico used to be the chef at Ruth Chris when it was first at the metro mall or where ever it was.

When I was a kid, I thought RC must suck because they had one in Northpark. Maybe it was the warm glo coming from Piccadily right next to it that threw me off. Shapley's and Walker's are our favorites.

Mermaid's in Lake Caroline is a really cool place, too, food and atmosphere. Same owner as Nick's.

me, too...especially when we'd be on vacation with a group of couples and it was always a top 3 recommendation/request for the "big" dinner night out!

Before I moved a couple years ago the Parker House was my favorite place for a good steak around Jackson with Tico's a close second.

Another Tico's fan here. I like the large filet...... medium rare.....my wife usually gets the small filet with the sautee'd mushrooms on hers. I just want a fork and a knife with mine.....and a cold beer to wash it down with.

Shapley's is good too, but I like Tico's steak better...... they are larger steaks too.

Ruth would tell you Tico cooks a better steak. Tico's.

Walkers and Creshales have the best all around food and atmosphere imo.
