Go State! That was a clear win. The part I liked best was the QB completions rate. Its going to be a fun season!

taking nothing away from state, they played sound football for the most part. and didn't make many mistakes. hats off to them... but holy crap auburn is horrible.or should i say horrible compared to what i thought they would be. i think they'll be lucky to win 6.

again congrats to state. big game for mullins and the dawgs

Mullen needs to find a FG kicker asap. As for the kickoff return for TD, I saw 3 different holds on the return, with one being right in front of the referee.

There were enough blown calls in the first half yesterday to last us the rest of the year.

Did you see them play Clemson, I didn't and was told by many they played good ball. This leads me to my question, because I have heard Auburns terrible from all the Ole Miss guys, could they have looked bad because we played decent ball? Just a thought, seems like when you play good it makes others not look so good or did i get that wrong?

IF Auburn beats Ole Miss what does that make Ole Miss? Worse than terrible?

If Auburn pulls an Arkansas and loses to ULM next Sat, then we will know for sure.

I agree 100% and Im not saying Auburn doesn't, but its funny to me that if State were to beat Alabama the other side (for the most part) would say, Alabama sucks. I will say you can't hide for long in the SEC and the truth will come out and we will see what both State and Ole Miss are made of.

aub vs clemson:

142 or auburn's yards came on 4 plays.

aub's qb went 11/27 with a td (54 on one play) and int.

clemson had over 500 yards of offense to aub's 374

aub was 4-13 on 3rd down's and 0-1 on 4th downs

to say auburn played good football that game, i would have to disagree. they "hung around" that game but nothing more.

State's playing good ball and creating turnovers definitely contributed to auburn looking poorly. but to say the don't have issues is blind. as to the ole miss comment, i wouldn't be surprised if ole miss lost to them. if your terrible your terrible. and at this point regardless of what anyone says ole miss games the last 2 weeks just gauges that they are better than last year. does that get them out of the cellar? only time will tell.

big win for state, saw a little of mullen's presser. he seemed extremely happy as he should.

while state played a good game, i was disappointed that the defensive secondary had two great interceptions and the offense was not able to convert them into points on the board. it could have been a helluva lot worse for auburn if state hadnt comitted careless penalties during big plays and had been able to punch it in after the turnovers. its the small things that separate mediocrity from excellence.

That was a seal clubbing and the game was not as close as the score shows. State came to play and it showed. Auburn has a lot of issues and if they win 4 or 5 games, it will be lucky. Next weekend isn't a gimme by any means. I figured State would do the usual and blow every opportunity to score but they finally got the Auburn monkey off their back. They were in position for the past 2 games to beat AU but didn't. My son and I had a great time watching the Dawgs finally win over AU!
