seen a bunch in the hill country yesterday, prolly 200 or so... i think they was lost...

If we keep the birds we got, and the lake level stays where it's at. It's gonna get real ugly come the 15th!

Just went and checked 4 spots here in Missouri. All 4 spots had teal, but 2 of them were loaded. one had close to a thousand and the other one had a thousand+. We have a front pushing through tonight will be interesting if they are there tomorrow. Another front coming saturday. low 53 high 75 saturday!!

Sorry just saw your post. They were gone Friday anyways. Went Saturday saw a few a distance only had one group come with in gun range after shooting hours, but wouldn't work the decoys just buzzed pass us.

Huge bunches in NE Arkansas now. Saw plenty this morning along with Pintails and Shovelers. Another quick hunt today.
Helping ducks have a bad day since 1961.

funny you mention the other species. i went and did some scouting yesterday afternoon. I was amazed at the amount of gadwall, shovelers, and woodies hitting the holes compared to the amount of teal. seen prolly 4-500 ducks and out of those numbers it was only about 150ish teal. granted i was only "watching" the holes for about an hour but still was surprised.

I have also never seen woodies out in the wide freakin open like that... EVER. i guess that its more of an early season deal for them, as to that's where the food is.

needless to say, excited to go back and watch ducks again this afternoon
