If you are an archer, try Azincourt by Bernard Cornwell, but be careful, he has written a lot of books and once you get started on him you'll want to read them all. Midevel Eupore stuff.....very good!

Also, any and all of Brad Thor's and/or Vnce Flynn's stuff if you like bad ass spy/antiterrorist stuff. Scott Harvath and Mitch Rap are 2 bad ass dudes!
