Yeah, I 'm not sure where I got that crazy thought. I forgot that you are really a closet Rebel posing as a delusional MSU homer. It's a great disguise.

Interesting, but since I am not much of a gambler, perhaps you could interpret for me. Let's take the Rebels. 5.5 wins. Over +300. Under -400. So if I bet $100 that the Rebs win 6, what would be the payout if they did? How much would I lose if they didn't?

If you put $100 on the over and won, you'd profit $300. If you put $400 on the under and won, you'd profit $100.

If you put $100 on the under and won, you'd win $25.

Thanks MSDawg. It's amazing how they pick these win numbers for the over-under. That 5.5 figure for the Rebs is right at the point where it would be a tough decision. And to make it tough to pick the under, they make you risk losing $400 just to win $100.
I think I'm keeping my money.

There are always big surprises the first 2 or 3 weeks. With all the younger guys playing at key positions for state and ole miss, its hard to bet on whether they're going to thrive under gameday pressure or fold under it.
