Former MSU linebacker

Postby camlock » Fri Jul 20, 2012 8:23 pm

And my uncle, Glen Buford passed away yesterday from meningitis. He'd recently beaten mouth and throat cancer....don't know much about his playing days but that he was a linebacker and played 4 full years I believe! 76-79. He kept his helmet on top the TV, didn't talk much about it but I've heard he was a tough cookie. From knowing him as a person, I BELIEVE IT!!! He was in his late 50's I believe. One of most fond memories of him was watching the 99 egg bowl at his house. Thought some of you ole bulldogs might remember him.
