Anyone traveling from Brandon area to North part of State

Postby Seymore » Sun Jun 24, 2012 12:25 am

Wife has found a German Schnauzer in the Brandon area. I don't won't to drive all the way there on Thursday but she's busting my chops. If anyone is coming this way this week, please let me know. I am willing to pay for your trouble. The dog will have a kennel so it could ride in the back of a truck. I am in Tupelo and can meet you an hour or two outside of Tupelo. Thanks. I hate the thought of driving 6 hours round trip for a house terror dog that can't even retrieve a duck.

I may be going to see my uncle in Batesville one day this week. Not sure how close that will be to you...

Thanks to everyone who replied and sent me a PM. The lady in Brandon decided if we wouldn't drive to Jackson then we couldn't have the dog. She picked the dog up as a stray while she was vacationing in Oklahoma and put and ad on Craigslist to give the dog away. My wife responded and then the lady had several offers of several hundred dollars for the dog. Evidently, it is a pure bred and folks want it. I think either the lady has grown accustomed to the dog or she wants to sell it and was looking for a way out. Worked out fine with me as I didn't want the thing anyway.

But this is another example of how great this board is. I told my wife I thought I could ask on here and save a trip and I had several replies. Thanks to everybody.
