Re: South Panola's Mix
No need for any more info or facts lilham. There is clearly a conspiracy afoot against MSU. Gene, Gene the dancing machine and Rosebowl Robertson have declared it so. Lets, all together now, in unison, give a loud and sincere Ducksouth shoutout to the poor pitiful MSU fan base here: "AAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWWW". Bless your hearts.Where is webbie's crying baby when you need him?

Lance played JUCO at Holmes CC. He played with Randy Baldwyn and they both went to TSUN. Pogue tore his knee up and that finished his career. He then came back to Holmes and coached while he finished up his degree at Delta State. I played at Holmes while he was coaching. He is a very big TSUN supporter, but HEY, I'm a big Mississippi State supporter. Every chance I get, I try to talk kids into going to MSU.

Re: South Panola's Mix
Old Miss's stellar success in football is a testament to just how much we're missing out on.
Who cares if Old Miss gets all of South Panolas players.
And for the record, I went to school at Northwest, you're a damn fool if you think anyone will believe otherwise that Old Miss or Northwest are your two options at South Panola.

Re: South Panola's Mix
Mix should be a good pickup for MSU ---big and very strong -- dominates against his high school competition. Both MSU and Ole Miss were recruiting Mix, as well as other schools. MSU gave Mix his first SEC commitable offer and he took it. Ole Miss was still "evaluating" him for some reason.[/quote]
WOW. thats the 1,000th time i heard that from an ole miss fan since he committed. we really appreciate yall letting our poor white trash school have a recruit every now and then. Since yall didnt want him and everything. Freeze figured out that they didnt have a shot so now the word is they are "evaluating" him. You people will come up with any excuse in the world not to have to admit the truth. I guess Davion Johnson fits Freeze's basketball on grass type offense better i think so he got one of the mythical "committable" offers. I sure am glad we are getting some of the recruits that aren't good enough to play for a powerhouse like Ole Miss.

Classic straw man argument. I never said that Mix was not good enough to play at Ole Miss. I personally would like to see him in red and blue, from what I know about him (for whatever that is worth, as I admit that I am no recruiting expert). And there are many Ole Miss fans who disagree with Freeze's evaluation of Mix, and just hope he knows what he is doing. And its not even a given that Mix would have committed to Ole Miss, even with a commitable offer in hand. Despite the myth that Ole Miss gets every recruit it wants from SP, or that there is some mass UM conspiracy that prevents other teams from signing SP players, the above posts categorically prove that to be false. I meant exactly what I said. I think MSU got a nice commitment from a very good OL in Mix. But rather than accept a complement, you seem to feel the need to twist and turn my words to fit your negative stereotype of Ole Miss fans. I am very good friends with many MSU fans who post on this board. And some of them probably appreciate any information they can get about a recruit, even if it comes from a Reb. Until you get that huge chip off your shoulder, perhaps you just need to ignore my posts from now on if they upset you so much --- I think I can handle the silence from your corner.WOW. thats the 1,000th time i heard that from an ole miss fan since he committed. we really appreciate yall letting our poor white trash school have a recruit every now and then. The current group of MSU commits appears to be a great early start for Mullen, which very well could lead to his best signing class yet. (Note to self: I will probably later regret having made this complement as well

haha no chip man. the vast majority of the guys i work with are Ole Miss fans and it's just frustration built up from the past week listening to oh well he didnt commit to us so obviously we didnt want him and we were "evaluating" him, oh and by the way Fancy Yancy Porter said he's not that good he's SP worst lineman really. Wasnt meant to flame you man i just repeated what i told them earlier in the day. Silence from my corner begins nowPo Monkey Lounger wrote:Classic straw man argument.
