I've heard for a long time he was not going to class...I assume it is grade related.

Apparently, "Buckshot" Brassell does not like attending class. He is no doubt a great "athlete", but just not a "student-athlete".

His grades are so bad that it is not likely even possible for him to be eligible to play at Ole Miss this coming fall. He did not attend class last fall under Nutt. And he apparently did not change his habits this spring under Freeze, even with the knowledge that he must improve his academics to continue playing football in the SEC. It appears that he made up his mind to transfer before the spring semester even began.

Most likely, he will transfer to a lower division school where some of his buddies from SP are currently playing ---someplace that does not require students to go to class in order to pass. He will play the minimum number of years of college ball and then enter the NFL draft.

Mr. Blutowski, 0.0.

bingo.... grades... he had to have dang near a 4.0 to even have a shot to get eligible again... he was one of 3 who didn't get it done. think there was roughly 25 academic cases going into the semester, so all in all much needed improvement there... sucks that kid is gone, but even he expected it

for exmaple you could kill a 4 greenheads (two banded), a mallard/black cross, and a mallard/gaddy cross and smash a hot blonde on the way back to the ramp and call it a hell of a day
and THAT is a duck hunt.

Am i the only one who got satisfaction out of this  .. not because an extremely talented athlete pissed away his god given gift because he was lazy.. just the fact that it couldn't have happened to nicer people than the great fans of ole miss

Here's the funny thing about the whole situation. Non-athletes are required to take 12 hours a semester to be considered a full time student. Some kids take upwards of 18 hours a semester. These guys only have to take 18 hours total in two semesters. If you can't handle 9 measly hours a semester, then you shouldn't be in school.
