Yea some friends of mine bought a bighorn about a yr ago and they havent had any trouble. You can park it side by side with a rhino and all the parts look like they will interchange. I no yamaha brake pads work on em.

I'd spend more money and buy the Yamaha or Polaris rather than the Chinese clone but thats just me. These look nice, still very pricey, not a whole lot cheaper than the major brand its copying. These say assembled in US and all so at first glance it looks like a US product. Dig a little deeper, Chinese. In the end, the name brand product is going to hold its value also, the Chinese product will probably not hold any resale value. In the long run, it may end up not being any cheaper.........

No plans to buy one just wondering if anyone else had one. I'm guessing most everything that is assembled in the USA has a large portion of the parts made elsewhere.

I looked at these myself last year and actually called a guy in TX selling them and we talked for about 30 mins. I opted for the Polaris Ranger 500. Local dealer for work (if needed) and resale value alone was enough for me. Too close in price not to, IMO.

The Polaris is USA. When I glanced at the Bennche website, I saw some that looked like knockoffs of Yamahas and some knockoffs of Polaris. Thats why I made the comparison of those 2.

Don't know if there is a true US auto/atv company. Something may be assembled in the US but all the parts may come from foreign suppliers.

Is there really any American made ATV company? Just curious as I have never paid much attention to it.

For some reason, I'm thinking Arctic Cat is a US company. My farmer has one & I it seems like that's the reason he bought the Artic Cat brand.

I doubt it. Polaris & Artic Cat are the only 2 that come to mind but I seriously doubt the components are made here.

I know what you meant Robert, I was just bustin your chops.

Polaris and AC are both in the US and are like right down the street from each other.. But up until a few years ago AC used Suzuki and Kawasaki engines. They make their own now, but I am sure not everything on either bike is made all here in the US.

Their warranty sucks! Directly from their website (http://www.bennche.com/product/Gray_Wol ... rranty.htm)

_____________

What is not covered? (Warranty Exclusions)
.......
? Thermostat or any damage caused by faulty thermostats or caused by overheating resulting from loss of or inadequate coolant or lubricant levels, lack of viscosity and restricted flow are not covered;
........
_________

So let me get this straight. If some $5 thermostat goes bad and the engine blows on a brand new $7000 four wheeler, you are just $#!+ out of luck? I will pass.
