Are there any moral victories in the Petrino saga?

I would have to say that any close games in the fall which Bacon ends up losing (in a tight contest), you will most likely hear "If we would have had BMFP, we would have won this game."

But that is a future moral victory. Lets talk about now....

Bobby Petrino: Embarassed, fired, humiliated, family troubles, etc. Moral victory: gets to move out of Arkansas.
Ole Miss fans: endured 4 years of obsessive Bacon fans saying "I told you so." Moral victory: went 2-2 against Arkansas/Petrino.
Arkansas fans: Lost coach that they spent 4 years telling everyone how great he was and how this job was special for him. Moral victory: we've got an AD with morals and dignity.
People who bought and wore a BMFP t-shirt: $26 and hurt feelings. Moral victory: Liberty and Cotton Bowl trophies; lots of touchdowns against Div 2 schools; nail bitter victory against Vandy.
This board: Losing big_gumbo. Moral victory: Knowing that he is weeping in his tree house.

Auburn: "Jet-Gate". Moral victory: Thank God we passed on Petrino and stuck with Tuberville. Surprised you didn't think of that one Webbie.

The AD coming out of this smelling like a rose confuses me. Sure I understand why the Hogs are claiming Long's move is admirable but why is anyone else buying it? He hired Petrino knowing what a deceitful guy he was and finally had to cut him loose when there was no other play to make. That's nothing to be proud of.
