Peyton to broncos

Postby mharville » Mon Mar 19, 2012 11:21 am

Anybody else seen this?? Manning is going to denver, bye bye tebow. I hate it all around. I wanted manning to be closer and now tebow needs a new home. I figure miami will do everything they can to get tebow, but don't know if that's a great idea

I think they should have stayed with what they had. How many years does Manning have left in him? Jaguars owner was saying he wants Tebow no matter what it takes (believe I read it on yardbarker.com last week). It would be a huge score for Jacksonville to get Tebow back in Florida. He may not win them all but he will sell out the seats, atleast for the first couple years.

Tebow was the future. He could have done more for the Broncos in the long run than Manning can. This is Brett Farve all over again. Teams are getting him just to fill the seats and spend big money on a QB that is past his prime. Tebow was done wrong by this move. Im not knocking Manning, but Tebow hasnt even had a chance to shine yet.

^disagree.

I'm a Tebow supporter but he is not going to win you a championship. Peyton will have them in an afc championship game in two years, and possibly a super bowl.

The front office was never committed to Tebow and this was the perfect excuse to send him elsewhere. The Favre argument doesn't hold water... he took them to a nfc championship game and one of his best, if not the best, season he ever had at age 40. Peyton is 36 and a better quaterback.

We will revisit in a year or two.
