Ramsey, if you are talking about Shane Smith, his work is second to none. I had a goldeneye done by him and can't wait to see it. He has a cousin in Starkville so they deliver as well...too bad I'm in Illinois now!

I second, third and fourth the story on Shane Smith...I dont know a thing about the fine Mississippian taxidermists mentioned....
...Ive got 7 birds mounted by Shane...from Sea Ducks to Geese to Wood Duck...
His work is extra special....particularly if you have a really nice bird or mature specimen....Some of my mounts are 6-7 years old and still look great...
He is pricey...and he is way over in NE Alabama.....
One final note...he is a genuinely good guy....
I do not intend to put anyone else mentioned on the forum down...I simply have no experience with them...
